Schools, churches and non-profit community organisations in my electorate are able to receive flags for their use. Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Flags are available to these organisations upon written request. In addition, the Red Ensign is available to service-related organisations.

Community groups, Australian exchange students and humanitarian aid workers undertaking official duties overseas are may also be eligible to receive a flag. Proof of the nature of the overseas duty is required.

Residents of my electorate may also receive a National Symbols Kit which includes:

  • A book on the flags of Australia
  • Compact disc or cassette recordings of the National Anthem
  • Printed words of the National Anthem
  • Prints of the Australian Coat of Arms
  • Australian floral emblem (Golden Wattle) seed packets
  • Pamphlets on the National Flag, Coat of Arms, Floral Emblem, National Gemstone(opal) and the Order of Australia

Photographs of Her Majesty The Queen; and Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh are also available upon request.
